WE-CARE focus is on education and all of its activities and programs are geared towards that objective.
WE-CARE Library located in Monrovia, was WE-CARE first project that started informally in 1992 in the heat of the Liberian civil war and was formally established in 1995.
The Reading Liberia program(RL) trains in-service teachers for the C- Primary Teacher Certificate with focus on basic pedagogical skills, reading and writing in the classroom while incorporating critical thinking and participatory learning. WE-CARE Reading Liberia Program is one of the few institutions with the mandate from the Ministry of Education to certificate primary teachers.
Critical Thinking Liberia (CT-L) collaborates with community colleges in Bomi, Capemount and the University of Liberia in upgrading the pedagogical skills of the teachers in the classroom. This collaborative effort is focus on critical thinking, lesson planning and delivery methods in the classroom.

Family Literacy Initiative
This program sends teachers (Home Visitors) to homes in the economic challenged communities to teach the parents to be their children( 3-5) first teachers.
Youth Community Outreach
Youth Community Outreach WE-CARE works with other organizations like the Liberian Career Pathways, SADAD and several other youth groups in seven communities, to help the youths identify opportunities and help them make the right career choices and pathways as they pursue their ambition.
