READING LIBERIA ​

Reading Liberia is a program that trains in-service teachers for the C-Primary Teacher Certificate with a focus on basic pedagogical skills, in addition to reading and writing in the classroom while incorporating critical thinking and participatory learning. Read more

CRITICAL THINKING-LIBERIA

Collaborates with community colleges in Bomi, Capemount and the University of Liberia in upgrading the pedagogical skills of the teachers in the classroom.  This collaborative effort is focus on critical thinking, lesson planning and delivery methods in the classroom. Read more

FAMILY LITERACY INITIATIVE  

This program sends trainers to homes in economically challenged communities to teach parents to be their children’s first teachers. Operational in four communities (West Point, Caldwell, Duazon, and Neezoe), Family Literacy Initiative is involved with 128 families. Read more

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION 

Trains  in- service teachers to become early childhood and kindergarten teachers. WE-CARE did  four years of ECD/ECE piloting in four public schools which has resulted in the signing of a contract with the Ministry of Education Read more
